Hi everyone,

I just recently added a Banks iDash to my mostly stock, street only 2018 1SS 1LE and one of the parameters I have displayed is Engine Oil Temp (EOT). I was wondering if you guys could tell me the standard/expected temp range during normal street driving (I do have a heavy foot). I live in Colorado and am at about 6500' elevation. It was about 60-65° out so I was seeing Intake Air Temps around 68-73° and EOT of 199-218°. The upper end of the EOT range seems a little high to me but I simply don't know.

What EOT should I be seeing?

199 to 218 is hardly warm.

250 plus on track...entirely normal.

I used be concerned when I hit 300 in my C4 Corvette...quality oil.

Thank you! I thought it was high based on it being a relatively cool day but thanks for setting me straight.

At 650ft over sea level I see 200-205 in regular daily driving, even in the summer. About 230 to 240 on track.
