Torque Converter Stall Speed?
What would y’all recommend for a mostly stock 2018 SS with A8 trans? Only current mods are Borla cat-back ATAK and CAI carbon intake.
From my reading it looks like a 245mm Cirlce D 3200-3400 speed is the one to get? Any benefits for other stall speed ratings? The only future mods might be Kooks LT catted headers and maybe a MSD Atomic Manifold and 103mm TB. Perhaps maybe a Lingenfelter cam way down the road. Thanks. I considered this route also before a cam. I would stay stock converter. They launch pretty hard. I would go e85 and longtubes with a tune first. Converter at the same time as cam. Just me.

I am more concerned with any future A8 shudder issues. Already had the trans fluid flush TSB performed. Preventative maintenance. So I am leaning to replace the TC either way. Sooner vs later. |

I just installed a Circle D 3500 stall. But, I'm Procharged, headers, etc, etc.
