MYLINK 8" Screen is BLANK
Tonight I was driving my 2017 SS and the mylink screen went black. I have not been able to get it to turn on since. The radio works through the steering wheel controls... But I can't even use my reverse camera. ANYONE else have this issue. Super irritated that this even happened. I have owned the car for 3 weeks and haven't had an issue. Is there anything I can do to rest or reboot the system? I heard that GM is pushing out updates... Do you think that is the cause?

Mine went black also.
Ended up being the USB stick that was full of MP3 songs. Once removed the screen is back to normal. This was two months ago. |

just pull the fuse in the trunk. I forgot what fuse it is but it is marked on the back of the fuse box called mylink or entertainment.
I pulled it and put it back in. never went blank again. knock on wood

Did you accidentally turn the brightness knob down too far? Only takes a few clicks to make the screen disappear!

I have the 7" screen and mine was dead tonight! No lights, none of the buttons worked, no back-up camera. I shut the car off and restarted it, but it was still dead. Then after driving a few miles, the screen and back-lights on the controls came back on. I didn't try the radio. It does seem there is some sort of glitch in these systems.

mine just went black again. pulled fuse and disconnected battery for over 4 hrs and will not come back on.

My wife's car (16 SS) does this every so often and just comes back on by itself.

I went to the Dealership yesterday and they could not fix it telling me the communication module is bad and would need the car for a few days.
The tech said the radio or entertainment system could be toast.

Mine died when my car had 600 miles on it. Turned out that the control module for the whole system blew. Took GM 6 weeks to get me a replacement module.
