suspension upgrade with supercharger
does anyone know what the added weight of the supercharger up front will do to the handling of the car? is there any suspension changes i should consider doing after i get the sc installed?

I can tell you that I got wheel hop, but that's more due to the added power. $300 worth of BMR parts solved that for me. As for the weight of the super charger, the car still handles perfectly fine when I tear it up on the farm roads near me.

My car handles the same. I can't tell a difference and I have pushed it pretty hard in tight turns and such. Maybe a racer on a road course would be able to tell a difference but for must of us, its business as usual.

Sweet thank you. What bMr upgrades did you do to fix the wheel hop?

Sorry just seeing this now. I got upper and lower trailing arms, which came with bushings. I don't recall the part numbers but I believe I posted them either in a thread BMR started for their parts or in my member car journal. There's definitely pictures under the car of them on there. You'll also need another alignment after you put them in. Hope that helps

I have not noticed any difference in the handling and you will need a set of BMR lower arms to take care of the hop.

I'll be adding some up graded Bmr suspension after the Maggie and before the drag racing season starts again in just a few months. Can't wait.
