Holy Mackeral! 35.4 MPG???
Interestingly enough, I was on the way to the drag strip where I ran my personal best ET of 12.08 and on the way I hit my personal best 25 mile fuel mileage record. I was on rural roads with a few small town traffic issues and then on the interstate for about 80 miles or so after this mileage. I posted my drag strip time slip here: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...23#post9076423
Here's a pic of my mileage calculator:

Ok, I've see this screen now a couple times and mine looks nothing like it. I also have a 2SS with Nav, like you. Is this an update or option I don't have? I have the 4 gauges along the top and my MPG is in the middle in a table format while my compass is small and top center.

You can select 3 different displays using your steering wheel controls.
Press left on the right control pod. Scroll down select settings. Then display theme.

Above is the technology display theme. I personally like the standard theme, the one with the 4 gauges on top.

I've found most built-in MPG displays are about 2 off when you calculate on fill ups. Regardless it's still impressive.

That's really good. My best is about 26 and my average is 22-23. I drive a manual and commute 58 miles to work on rural hiways and thru towns.

Holy, Mackeral...you drive it like it was stolen...this car would appreciate that for sure. I want to be very careful about tickets on the highway, but, on occasion, the urge overcomes any resistance...lol. I understand completely. There are some days when you just have to do it!

Highway driving makes all the difference. My 5th gen SS can easily get 25 mpg on the highway if I feather the gas just the right way during changes in elevation. But when I drive normally, my average is half that at 15.1, almost all "city" driving with stop-and-go traffic to and from work.

Did you cruise at 55 or was this at 70? There is a huge difference obviously.
