Just Bought a Procharger and Headers, Tip/Advice

Hi all,

So as the title says, I just bought a Procharger Stage II Intercooled kit with a P1X, and Kooks 2" long tube headers, with hi-flow cats. For supporting mods I have bought the LT4 HPFP, Granatelli wires, wide band, and a banks gauge.

I plan to install myself around mid may. Just wondering for those who have done it, any advice, tips, or tricks.

Its going on my 2018 2SS 1LE no other mods done.

Thanks in advance.

A JMS bap would help with the lowend if you decide to go with some e85. Other than that good start.

LT4 injectors and a flex fuel sensor should go on too. Not to mention one step colder plugs as well.

You need full fuel system not just injectors.

Colder plugs as Josh mentioned. NGK 7 or Brisk 14

Proper crank case ventilation.

Octane. Pump gas alone isn't enough unless you plan on running low bost(6-7psi). You are adding boost to a high compression engine with very tight ring gaps and marginal strength pistons. Ethanol works well here but many areas do not have it. Other options would be alky injection or install a cam to bleed off some dynamic compression.
