ZL1 addons jack pads or lift pads
Just was reading that jack pads are recommended for camaros?
I have never used them before on all the mustangs i used to have. I am thinking the stealth lift pads would be better than the jack magpad? that way gives it protection when getting oil changes done at dealership? are they easy to install? just tighten those screws to the pinch weld? thanks! |

Yes, that's as easy as it is. I got mine on Amazon for about 1/4 of the price of ZL1 Addons. They've been on for a couple of years now.

5 minute install, protects your pinch welds, and the red makes it very obvious where to lift if you have people work on your car.

I did this with mine also. They haven't moved, and the car has been driven daily for the past year.

I ended up ordering the ZL1 jack pad.
also, I saw a post giving instructions on the correct method to jack the car up from a guy called the track enthusiast that has a ZL1 and he said use the second jack point opening on the front of the car to jack it up and the rear wheel will also lift because the chassis is so stiff. the very front and rear jack points are for jack stands if you use those. and to use pads. i did not know you were to use the jack at that location only. |
