275x40x20 on front of LT1

ordered some new wheels and tires for the Camaro.
rear 305x35x20 on 20x10 wheel with 23 mm offset
front 275x40x20 on 20x9 wheel with 35 mm offset

the rears seem fine but fronts are definitely hitting the strut.

anyone running these sizes and how?

35 seems like a lot of offset for the fronts. Are you rubbing in height or width ? In either case a spacer might help.

You need at least 10 mm more space on front.

rubbing in height. I think I may have to send these back and go with different sizing on both front and rear.

my rear tires were 305/35/20 on a 20X10 wheel
fronts were 275/40/20 on a 20X9 wheel

seems like this is 1" taller than stock. (I should have checked before ordering)

I would like to keep the 305's on the rear (can fit 305/30/20) but not sure what to get for front. was thinking 265/35/20.
Anyone know if that will work without a spacer. still the 35mm offset.
