I did the work. Pushrods are a little short, but still within preload spec. GPI did the valve spring install. I'm pretty confident in my work. Ben from GPI thinks all my lost power is definitely from the DA. Still going to do a comp test.

i can see the da greatly affecting the cars performance. it is what it is. but when you're racing your brother, how is the da only affecting your car?

I did have a 220 lb passenger when I raced him, then a 120 lb passenger the second time and he said the gap was bigger. Also how is your raceweight 3900 lbs. My car weighs 3880 with a full tank and me in it (150 lbs drivers).

my car was 3720 on stock wheels with a half tank of fuel. the race stars were 51 lb? lighter. so 3670 + 10 gallons fuel + 215 lb easily puts it over 3900.
nothing was removed from the car. it had the spring separator things, flat tire mitigation etc.

What was your exact setup for your 8.4x. Who was your tuner.

Yeah 8.4x is a load of shit. There isn't a single 440 whp, 3900 lb car running 8's lmfao. Let alone at 3200 DA. My buddy's C6 Z06 only ran high 8's in that DA.

idk what to tell you. you seem way more interested in challenging a car from 3+ years ago, halfway across the country than you do figuring out why your hci car is getting the business from a stock mustang.
it was a dyno dynamics dyno, which typically read 10%+ lower than a dynojet. the car picked up roughly 1.5 mph after the ati damper & rotofab mod. the car went almost 126 beforehand. i'm done defending the car. it's old news at this point. good luck.
