I wonder how long it took to set up the paint booth for those cars, and did they run them all in sequence...

I just noticed the stripe... subtle, I like it.

They did not run them all in sequence but the car numbers increase with the VINs as well.

The stripe actually wraps over the back of the trunk a bit which is different from the norm. That gloss matches rockers, mirrors etc and I really needed to havce the CFI painted black instead of exposed to match the stripe. I tried to change it in the very beginning but they were worried the order could get messed up

Sounds good!

Sweeeet car.

Wondering if you've had a chance to track it yet. You commented earlier in the thread that you'd give your impressions of the copper free pads.

I have a 24 2SS with the ZL1 brake package and had the chance to track mine a few weeks ago. I feel like they performed very well, but I haven't had a chance to pull the wheels and see how much material is gone after 3 hours of HPDE driving. Also curious to know how many sessions we'll be able to get out of the factory rotors as well. I'm new to the platform, so I have no baseline to reference on these cars.

I'm running Castrol SRF in mine, and that's basically the only upgrade I made before hitting Summit Point Raceway here in VA. TIA

You can use the "typical" non copper free ZL1 brake pads. The front shape is very close (but not identical) to the copper free pad shape. I have used the typical ZL1 OE Ferodo HP1000 pads, Ferodo DS2500 and DS1.11 pads, all on the street and the track on my copper free package equipped '22 SS 1LE. Search here on the forums for more info. The HP1000 pad is an improvement in feel and performance over the OE copper free pad. And it's cheaper than the copper free pads.

As far as the rotors, they will last a really long time. This package is thermal overkill, even when I used the DS1.11 race pad, my caliper temp were pretty low (Pitt Race, advanced driver). I was running the Caddy BlackWing brake deflectors but I have since removed them and reinstalled the OE deflectors.

Camaro Fest is less than 3 weeks away so will hit NCM and some autoX and drag strip too. These brakes feel really good but still no track time other than the forest runs.

Thanks for the run down because I probably won't track this car much. The ZLE gets that duty. So far the brakes actually feel better than the ZLE probably because they are brand new.
