With exception to Michelin which I haven't found a video for yet with the horsepower range these are being tested at. Note: These tires are probably more suited for straight runs and not so much turn races. Again these tires you probably do not want to use in rain, and they don't last long and wear out fairly quickly within 6000 miles I believe.

As I mentioned before I chose SC3's because I'm used to them. They have a 180-220 tread wear, and at my hp level, it is easy to spin them, but if you ease into it like they say in this video, they work at 305 width. The SC3's are also better in rain/wet roads similar to the Michelins but I think Michelins have a slightly higher rating in wet performance. Probably better if I went to 315's and since I'm interested in drag racing and not turn racing, I would probably throw on the R888R's when I go to the strip.

Let me just make one addition, this is an older (although very good) video, since then Nitto has released the 555RII that is considered even better, and, as an added bonus, quieter and more rain friendly than the original 555R tested here.

By the way, those Toyos sound like a vacuum cleaner attached to an already loud monster truck, you won't want to drive on those on the street. Not sure about the MTs, I never had them.
