They are cheap. The previous owner of my Camaro did something similar where they welded in a similar type muffler and welded on the original tips to the muffler. I bet the car drones something fierce as well. Go get a quality aftermarket catback. You'll likely spend more than you should on a factory NPP so might as well get something aftermarket that utilizes the factory NPP system as well.

Yes...it drones like crazy!I hear the stock NPP exhaust can be had for next to nothing. Not sure if it would be cheaper to go that route because I'm looking to tone this thing down as it is loud as hell and might be intolerable when I add longtubes.
