I'm using a backup battery.
So the Camera connects to the battery, which connects to power. With the battery connected to the proper fuse it only charges when the car/acc is on. It's the setup I've had for 4 plus years and just keeps my mind at ease with concern to excessive power draw by not drawing when the vehicle is off.

I've also been having issues with said setup since I moved it from my old car to the camaro and the only real difference right now is it's using the wireless charger fuse which is only a 5 amp and like I mentioned it's recommended to connect to 15 or 20, I'm basically trying to trouble shoot. On paper the issues shouldn't have anything to do with the fuse we're conncted to because the battery is charging and is fully charged but my Camera keeps rebooting.
