I was getting rock chips anyways - and silly me, I did not do the PPF.
It isn't horrible, but there are SOME for sure. More with the APEX but... having the extra grip is a worthwhile tradeoff to me. I run the 3R and the combo saves me several seconds depending on the track.
I'm running them for track only, with very occasional street drives when I am too lazy to swap back to stock after track days.
