'Stretched' is when the wheel is unusually wide for the tire size, so I think you mean 'pinched' or 'squeezed' here - stretching a 275/30 tire too much would take a 10.5" wide wheel. I'm pretty sure that the non-1LE SS rims are either 8"/9" or 8.5"/9.5" depending on year, meaning they're too narrow for 275's/305's.


I'm not convinced that run-flats are the best way to go either.
