Our windshields are so short that I feel like anything I put on the glass is going to ultimately obstruct my view. Even using all the extensions I can almost get it to overlap part of the infotainment but it's just short. My other idea was to mount it up high, almost acting like a sun visor.
For those of you who have a catalyst or something similar what have you found to be the best location?

The best location is in the CENTER mounted almost on TOP of the dash. This WILL NOT obstruct your view as you are typically looking at a visual angle that is ABOVE the top of the GARMIN anyway.
