You can blame me for starting this discussion.

I was just saying that even though my BMW is faster around a race track than my old Mustang, after 3 years with the M235i my verdict is that the Mustang was much more fun. I have been driving pony/muscle cars since my first Z28 in 1974, and I still get a kick out of shifting hard and getting the rear end loose. The BMW takes all that fun away with it's tenacious grip and ever-present nannies. (Even with the nannies all the way off, they're not really all the way off.) So I'll be the first to admit it's a frivolous discussion.
