If you go look up a lot of the newer redesigned LS hydraulic cams from companies like TSP you will see one thing in common. They are now .600 lift lobes instead of .620-.650. I have always been a firm believer in keeping the lift .600 or less with a stock style LS/LT valve train.
That being said the spring pressure/rpm is a bigger issue then the lift when it comes to lifter longevity. I think you will be fine with the Johnson 2110's and your current cam. The high lift becomes more of a issue with side loading the valve stem and scrubbing the guides with stock style rocker arms. Really need to consider a roller tip imo for high lift stuff.
