On a new car under warranty, I use the factory filter and the exact oil specified.
In my case, PF64 filter and the Mobil one 0w-40 esp. (The new esp oil, not the regular 0w-40)
I do all my oil changes, keep receipts, and don’t worry about any warranty claims if the engine blows up.
