Everybody wants to talk about WHP but that is only 1 part of the equation. A base Procharger kit with canned or even custom tune making 550whp on a dyno is more like 480whp on the street in real world because these engines will not sustain any timing on 93 octane even with low boost.

When you switch to Ethanol the gains end up being much more in real world because we can keep the timing in the engine at higher temps.
93 octane is absolute piss water for a stock compression LT1 with Forced Induction. It's not even enough octane for NA applications which is why they pick up 25-30whp NA on E85 with just a few bolt-ons.
