There's a much more succinct word for the phenomenon you're trying to describe:

It's pretty rare for modern cars to pop a wheelie. You actually don't want to do this in drag racing -- it's considered a bad launch and you're ultimately slower off the line since the car is wasting time and power lifting itself.
