Sort of. I haven't used it on the 6th gens, yet. I wouldn't doubt if it's evolved to that level...

On the 5th gen ZL1, it just held the throttle plate closed enough to avoid hitting redline while you engaged the clutch to shift. You were able to hold the accelerator to the floor and bang through the gears
