Mine is a 6-speed, and yes, the 2018 M240i can still be had in a 6-speed.

I do like the car, but I don't love it like I loved the Mustang. If luxury/sport is what you're looking for, it fits that bill. The 6-speed is quick enough (0-60 in ~4.6), small, and nimble - so easy to drive and park. The quality of the car is outstanding, right down to every little detail. When you close the windows in that car, you don't hear anything from the outside. After a lifetime of American cars, the BMW brand is just a completely different culture.

But after three years I realize I want something less sterile and more raw, visceral. I fell in love instantly on my first test drive in a 2SS a little more than a year ago. It was like getting into a NASCAR Cup car - so much like a race car compared to the sedate and conservative BMW.
