- Sorry for my slow update - in the meantime, I've moved from San Jose to Portland. Loving PDX!
- What I did to screw up my top is that I had a supermarket bag of stuff stored next to my subwoofer behind the vertical seperator under the top. I thought the height was as low as the subwoofer and therefore the top would not hit it. I was wrong - according to the Chevy dealer - and I'm sure they are right. Mea culpa!
- By impacting 1 side of the top from closing, I broke some stuff.
- $850 repair - or rather, $850 lesson: be careful about putting any crap behind the vertical separator where the top comes down.
