I suggest hardlines. I guess my situation is a little different as i have a 4l80 in my car, but rubber lines barely cleared the little gap between the turbo and bellhousing. Steel lines removed the concern. Had a rubber line get burned previously. They go to rubber at the front of the oil pan well away from heat.
