I bought a new GM LT4 crate engine. Any GM parts dealer can sell them. I would recommend Pace Performance. Their website sucks but the people behind the business are top notch.
"what are you gonna do with your stock lt1?"
I still have the LT1. I'd like to sell it locally so I don't have to ship it. I'm open to offers. It has 1,325 miles on it.
"did you have to retune or replace your pcm after the new engine?"
There's no need to replace the ECM, but it does need a tune. I went through hell to get it tuned, but it runs awesome now. I'd gladly give the tune file to whoever wants it.
