Mach 1 is too expensive relative to its competition and so are many Mustang performance options. PP1 is now 6,200 dollars. This was a 2,500 dollar package in 2015 MY. I'm also not a fan of the looks of the Mach 1.

I recall years ago Mustang crowd talking about how much more expensive the Camaro is and for the couple grand difference they could make their Mustang better. Well, to compete with just a base SS, you have to throw PP1 on the Mustang and it's more expensive than the Camaro MSRP wise. This seems to be across the board.

I did buy a new 2020 GT Premium with 401a, PP1, Active Exhaust, and Safe and Smart package for 39.5k. That's an almost 51k dollar car MSRP wise now. I personally couldn't imagine spending 50-60k on a Mustang GT right now.
