There is nothing wrong with car and I have been babying it and breaking it slowly so it's not a defect..

I've noticed this, too. It must be a taller gear as Mr. Wyndham noted. I came from a '16 SS with M6, and it's like I had to learn clutch engagement all over! I have almost 1k miles now, and I've learned that it's fluid smooth if shifted aggressively!
