I would have a difficult time saying that the Pilot Sport PS4S is an inferior tire. It's compromise for better wet traction doesn't come as a huge dry traction loss. Your not likely to find the limits of either the Goodyears or the Michelins on the street.... at least not legally. I would say dropping down to an "all season" tire would be a compromise.
