Yes, it's worse. You get used to it and you know the "size" of your car and can maneuver through autoX and other stuff just fine after some adaptation. But specifically to the "blind spot", it is critical to adjust side mirrors correctly in a Camaro. If you can see the side of your car in the side mirrors, they are not correct. The lane detection helps on the higher trims, but the primary is adjusting the side mirrors correctly.
