As far as the Costco thing goes, I would talk to the techs long before I went that route. Painted rims have to be treated very carefully so they don't get scratched and low profile tires are quite a bit more difficult to unmount and mount. Plus, you really want to be sure that you're getting the tires road force balanced.

Check other local shops - any of them should be able to give you a competitive price against what Costco would offer them for. I used Costco pricing a couple of years ago to get a better deal on the same Michelin's for my truck from Town Fair Tire. Their corp offices had to kick $100 in (in the form of a check) to match the private rebate / sale price Costco was offering on top of the Michelin rebate at the time...
