CAMARO6 - View Single Post - A10 Transmission whining gears 2,4,5 and 6

Hi guys,
I got a new 2021 A10 2ss, 1000km on it now.
The gearbox is whining in gears 2, 4,5 and especially in gear 6 from day 1 and getting louder.
It’s very noticeable and annoying for me like a whining differential but clearly from the gearbox and related to the gears.
It’s getting louder when car has warmed up but is also present in cold.

I got back to dealer last week, he check oil level and found nothing else. We took another totally new car out and it had the same whine noise in 6th gear but a lot less present.
The dealer then said to me this is normal but I totally disagree with that. It’s a really annoying very present noise during acceleration and coasting.

Now the question to you a10 guys. Do you all have that whining noise in the lower gears and most present in gear 6? Also is there a possible fix for it if it is a known problem?
