It used to be that cars had multiple horns. Now you get one.

My 1970 Buick for instance has three from the factory. Two are in F, and the third I think is in A. It's jarring when I hit the horn. Authoritative.

You don't have to get 'louder' horns. You need to install more horns. Look into it, investigate the sound you want.

Cadillac used to have four horns in their cars. Here's a vid of a guy that duplicated the sound kinda well. In a Honda, demonstrating you just need to get 'em and hook 'em up. My '70 Buick's horn sounds a bit like this, but I only have two notes.
