I actually liked the new ones when they came out. Yes it’s a bit of what I would call Jap or European styling, but I just liked it.
For us that stick to mostly stock the power train warranty will cover it. There a lot of guys out there that that option is out the window. Then it boils down to do ya bite the bullet & change it or take the chance of having to do a full tear down & rebuild should it fail.
