Probably just a bug. I wouldn’t sweat it, unless it becomes a persistent issue.
I’ve had a similar issue happen once before.
I just chalked it up to the new CarPlay interface.
Once I locked the car, and came back, the issue had resolved itself.
Also, make sure that your CarPlay software is up to date.
