I've found these cars warp our sense of what "normal" driving is...
If you drive normal for a Camaro - there's lots of wheelspin in the cold temps. But if you drive normal for any other commuter car? It is absolutely, positively fine.
Just today I had the ZL1 1LE out...it was damp, and 39º all day. I spun the tires a couple of times, but I reduced acceleration, used PTM wet mode (SS's could probably use "Snow & Ice")...and was able to do everything any other car on the road could do.
Just know your conditions. And restrain your Camaro-driving self.
