I've driven on all of these tires on various cars.
The Continental ECS is much newer than the PSS. I consider the ECS a better tire overall. As others have said, the PS4 is the successor to the PSS. I think the PS4 is faster than the ECS in the dry, and they are roughly similar in the wet.
The ECS has a softer sidewall than the PS4, so take that into consideration.
