Whipple 2.9 VS. Procharger D1SC
I’m sure this question has been asked million times ... but I need some input ..
I’m getting a Brand new Whipple or used D1SC stage 2 IC/R-BOV same price .
Which one would you guys choose?
My plans - want to keep it as a daily driver .. will see track here and there nothing competitive..
Car will have proper mods to support either kit.
Pro -
Whipple
- instant power
- brand new
- less maintenance?
Procharger
- drives like OEM low rpm
- easier to send unit out for repair
- easier to upgrade bigger unit
Con -
Whipple
- tires will light up every second you hit throttle
- hard to put power down with street tires
- harder to daily
- mpg?
Procharger
- used unit
- smaller than Whipple
- belt driven
