The RE980AS doesn't perform like a summer tire, but you can still reach imprudent speeds before they start to give up lateral grip. Straight line traction is nothing to write home about either, but much better than the Goodyears when it's cold, wet or both. Better ride, too...
I'm hoping the new Michelin A/S being developed for the C8 will be made in ZL1 sizes, as the 'Stones are the only non-summer tire currently available that will fit a stock wheel front and rear.

Chiming in from Colorado. I just put these on mine, getting ready for the cold weather. For a DD they seem to do OK so far. Will know in a few weeks what they are like in really cold and light snow
