Please do yourself a favor and bring it to a shop that specializes in convertible top replacement (s) / repairs. I adjusted my 2016 convertible. It ended up working out, but it was a nightmare. Doing it by yourself is an absolute no. Adjusting without understanding the exact impact is another huge no, no. You can cause things to bind, pinch etc… as well, you can’t stop the motion quickly by using the remote.
Preferably, adjustment is a two man, manual procedure. Good luck.
