SS and ZL1/ZLE share the same front lines. SS 1LE are different, so yes.

So, if you have an SS (non-1LE), to convert to ZL1 brakes you need:
-ZL1 calipers, front and rear

-New crush washers for the brake lines

The hydraulic units between SS (all) and ZL1 (all) are the same part. The Dynamic controls are a bit different between the SS, SS 1LE, ZL1 and ZL1 1LE though. You won't have an optimized system, but everything should work fine.
