I checked the heat coming out of the Vents in the hood and it was really rolling out of there, the hood insulator was surely keeping the heat trapped as stated in an earlier post. There ya go Laynlo, 1 small way to let some damn heat out. Put your hand over the vents with the hood closed and the fans are on... some serious movement of air going out the vents with out the rain guard on. I wished the rear hood w/strip on the firewall was just a clip on like the C7 corvettes. Just reaching down and pulling the hood release on the return road helps to , the hood stays popped on the safety latch no problem at those low return road speeds.
