Agreed laynlo. I spoke with RPM and they told me the same thing, but the local tracks generally just let you get away with the 6 point. I think if you consistently ran in the 8’s they would make you step up to the 10 pt. But, like the OP, I’m unwilling to do the 10 point as well. Just gets ridiculous in a car that has minimal interior room to begin with.
