I think we can run together, What is your route from Sanford to the Tail?
I can run to the north a little and meet up, then we can scoot across NC. I usually just dash to Columbia and up to Asheville, but that is a BORING interstate run.

7 July 2021 - start the day with a drive on the Dragon, then the Cherohala Skyway, arriving at Bowling Green, KY
7 - 10 July 2021 - Festivities
11 July - return to Sanford, NC
