Ok GY3R's are 2-3 seconds faster that your GY3's . So you are NOT going to be faster than a GY3R tire with those TOYO RR's. That means you should NOT expect to be 8 seconds faster with just the tire change. Beware also that TOYO RR tires have a cross section width that is wider than most tires that are technically the same size as theirs. For instance I COULD NOT run a 305 width TOYO RR's on my car (on front) because the section width of the tire caused interference with the strut but I CAN and DO run Pirelli 305 width slicks.
I ran a 2.10 on 300TW MS 4S tires at Eagles Canyon and a 2.04 on Pirelli Slicks or approximately 6 seconds faster. I had to absolutely drive the shit out of the car with the MS 4S tires but the time gap between a slick and a street tire will be narrower as you get more skilled at driving.
A year ago for me for instance the gap would probably be 10-12 seconds between the slicks and the street tires.
