Both cars are new and have about 30mi.

Problem is I want the car with high engagement point but hate the travel.

Can I get this car to have clutch engagement point more near the floor? Is there something wrong with it? Air in the clutch lines?

Please help as I really like the car but can't drive it like this.

Thanks!
I don't see how that can be. They are all manufactured the same. Mine and everyone I have talked to has a high engagement point near the top of the travel. That is the norm. Maybe you drove a Unicorn one, but that is not typical for the 6th Gen. Camaro , nor do I see a reason why there would be a big difference from car to car.
