1985 Ford Mustang GT, my first new car. No options, other than the no-cost choice of a 3.08 rear over the standard 2.73. It weighed in at 3022 lbs.

It was a great looking comfortable cruiser for it's time. A bruiser too: with it's finned valve covered, dual snorkeled air cleaner feeding a Holley 4bbl, roller cam and shorty headers, this was ( especially in hindsight ) the car that truly stuck the fork into the malaise-era. My best run, stock was 14.88 @ 93. Some timing and carb tweaks down the road got me in the 14.6s at 96. Don't scoff though, that was really moving for a new car back then.
