I don't think it'll be extremely expensive to fix. You will have a diagnose fee with some labor and parts. I do believe maybe a wheel speed sensor gone haywire or not working would cause your issue on stabiltrak. Take to a dealer, fix it and call your used car lot and ask them to split the cost with you. The steering on these cars is drive by wire. So I think a steering sensor or it's out of calibration.
