I just think a future Z would be better suited as an inbetween SS 1LE and ZL1 car
The ZL1 1LE stickers for so much because it is an option on the ZL1. The Z/28 doesn't have to be more.

The Z/28 can start with the SS 1LE, upgrade the brakes, tires, suspension, engine and aero. It could land around the ZL1 but offer a different experience.

Either way, it would be tough to outperform the ZL1 1LE. That bar is set pretty high.
