I actually went with RSP for my builds since IROZ was not only really backed up, but their prices were rather painful for seemingly basic builds. A lot of that felt like it was due to the popularity and notoriety they received in that community. I have a couple of their parts on my cars but, I don't think I'd ever take it to them for work. Miguel at RSP has been nothing but great and I spent a fair change less on my builds than I would have going to IROZ. He also has different philosophies when it comes to components and the necessity of them. I could be mistaken, but I'm highly confident that he hasn't lost a single engine but I can't say the same for IROZ cars.

But as far as your question is concerned, it's difficult to answer without getting specifics. For me, this is how I would break it down.

Vengeance: Highest-quality, premier LS/LT shop in the nation. Your dollar per hp ratio may be a little tough to accept but, they do works of art. $$$$$

Katech: Race development oriented and trusted by GM to work on their C6.R. Still very high dollar to power ratio. $$$$

LMR: Solid, down to earth dudes who can get you great results without destroying your savings. Great results, slightly above middle-of-the-road pricing. $$$

GPI: Results driven, small shop with no non-sense approaches to making cars fast. You won't necessarily waste money with their builds but, you really need to understand your goals. $$

Pray: Hardest-core dude on this list. He will do absolutely anything and everything in his power to make your car haul all the ass possible that you can afford and/or are willing to do to the car. His wait list is long and his patience is nil if you annoy him but, he will make your car hurt a lot of feelings. $??
